A short cinematic montage taken on a walk down to Sprotbrough Falls on a cold and frosty morning, and halfway through it decided to start snowing! Bad for my already cold fingers, great for the shots. Take a look. This video was filmed on the Sony RX100 IV, with one or two shots from the Panasonic Lumix TZ90.

Just over a month ago, I noticed that a particular bird had become a frequent visitor to the back garden. On one occasion, I saw it fly into the birdhouse we have up. So I got out the camera and took some photos of the little guy. A bit of googling suggested that it was a wren, one of the most common garden birds, but the fact it was living in our back garden gave me the opportunity to capture some close up photos and video. With a horrible work schedule it was difficult to get some photos in good light. Luckily one day I managed to capture the bird feeding its young through the hole in the nesting box. It turns out I was quite lucky to capture that shot, as the very next day when I got home from work, there were two little fur balls fumbling around the garden. They had flown the nest. Below is some footage of the wren, or 'tiny' as he became known, hoping in and out of his home. Ahead of the 2015/16 season, Doncaster Rovers Football Club asked us to prepare some graphics for the big screen at the Keepmoat Stadium.
We filmed all of the current squad doing a number of poses in front of the green screen to be used when the team line ups are announced and goals are scored. We also got the mascot, Donny Dog, to do some acting in front of the screen too. |
