A bright sunny day meant a walk down to Sprotbrough falls. I kept on walking until I got to Consibrough viaduct. You would have thought on a day like this I would have thought to take a camera, but no, so these shots were taken on my iPhone 7. I thought I'd try something a little different with the edits this time, so as they were taken on my phone I decided to edit them on my phone with a cheap app. I'm quite pleased with the results.

Photos from a very cold day at the British Touring Car Championship held at Donington Park.
Here are some of the best photos from my trip to Chester Zoo. It was a sunny day which always helps get some great shots. My favourite from the day has to be the one of the flamingos running into the water.
Photos from my trip to Orlando in Florida to visit SeaWorld, Walt Disney World and Universal.
Here are my photos from Glastonbury 2016. Although the site was swamped with mud, it was still the best festival I've ever been to.
Here are my photos from my walk, starting at Dovestone Reservoir in the Saddleworth Moors passing Yeoman Hey Reservoir and Greenfield Reservoir. The route was well marked with a track up until you reach Birchin Clough where the climb looks quite daunting at first, but the views are rewarding both at the top and during the climb. After a scramble up a hill I reached the Trinnacle which is a very picturesque spot, then followed the edge of the cliff back down to Dovestone.
The Yorkshire coast has some great scenery. Here a some photos from Flamborough Head, North Landing and Thornwick Bay. I would have liked to capture a long expose shot down on the beach, but the weather had other ideas. Extreme winds threw huge amounts of spray towards the lens causing the photo to become a blur.
Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB nature reserve near Bridlington in East Yorkshire. These photos are mainly of Gannets due to most of the other birds having flown their nests due to the season.
Sewerby Hall & Gardens in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Some fantastic gardens and very colourful displays. And they have penguins, whats not to love?
This was my first attempt at light painting. Leaving the shutter on the camera open then running into shot with a torch creates some cool looking effects.
I then loaded up a colourful smoky photo on my phone and tried the same with that... That created a surreal look. Just over a month ago, I noticed that a particular bird had become a frequent visitor to the back garden. On one occasion, I saw it fly into the birdhouse we have up. So I got out the camera and took some photos of the little guy. A bit of googling suggested that it was a wren, one of the most common garden birds, but the fact it was living in our back garden gave me the opportunity to capture some close up photos and video. With a horrible work schedule it was difficult to get some photos in good light. Luckily one day I managed to capture the bird feeding its young through the hole in the nesting box. It turns out I was quite lucky to capture that shot, as the very next day when I got home from work, there were two little fur balls fumbling around the garden. They had flown the nest. Below is some footage of the wren, or 'tiny' as he became known, hoping in and out of his home. This was my second visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, my first visit was back in January 2013, you can see photos from that trip HERE. This time the sun was out in all it’s glory which I think always makes for better shots than when the light is soft. Also this time I had a better idea how to use the camera. This time around I went with my family and we timed our route around the park to incorporate a few of the talks that the keepers do.

A week off work and nothing to do. A freezing cold winters day was probably not the best time to visit the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, but after wanting to go for ages, today was the day. I arose early in the morning to walk the 7 mile journey. Why walk? I hear you ask. Simple answer, it's good for you. Anyway, I used this opportunity to try out my new camera (Canon 600D).
